Best things to do in Victoria: The Inner Harbour is one of the most romantic waterfront stroll areas in Victoria and is also filled with history. If you love gardens, Butchart Gardens (25 minute drive from Victoria city centre) is a must see. Beacon Hill Park is also very lovely. Visiting and enjoying lunch or High Tea at the Empress hotel is always a delight. The Craigdarroch Castle is also a beautiful 25,000 sq. ft. historic building you may want to visit. Abigail's Hotel is a 17 minute walk (three blocks) to the waterfront. However, through our research we felt that since it is such a highly rated and charming hotel that it certainly deserved to be featured. Abigail's is an adult-only, 30-room boutique hotel that is housed in a very romantic 1930's Tudor mansion. Of course it has been well updated and features all the modern conveniences that the leisure traveler is seeking. Rated as a T/A Best of the Best 2023 award recipient you will certainly be pleased!
