Maya Palancar VIP

There is a small bar and restaurant called Maya Palancar VIP. They are ready to look after your beach vacation appetite, wet or dry! The servings (we are told) are generous, tasty and not overly priced. Enjoy eating Mexican seafood cuisine under the palapas while looking at the spectacular blue ocean! In order to use the lounge chairs, hammocks etc. you should purchase food and drinks from this “beach club”.

Against All Odds Movie Scene

Part of the movie Against All Odds was apparently filmed on Playa Palancar. This is where Rachel Ward was residing when she met Jeff Bridges on the beach. It was destroyed by hurricane Gilbert. Are you a romantic and did you love the movie? This might be enjoyable for you to reminisce! Go ahead... have a romantic, barefoot stroll along this beautiful beach.
